What Happened to Common Sense?

My New Facebook PageWhat happened to “Common Sense?” There has been plenty of drama played out on the world stage recently and when following events one can’t help but raise this question when moving beyond the sensationalistic headlines of the latest atrocity, scandal or politically driven agenda.

We appear to be caught up in a self-perpetuating loop of duality in many important areas of life, but particularly recently in Freedom of Speech and Multiculturalism which demonstrates a complete lack of common sense.

Confusion reigns supreme it seems when one compares the Charlie Hebdo Massacres and the UK’s media and political response and the following news article headline from the Daily Mail On-Line dated 14th January:

“Branded RACIST at five: A little girl who said her friend was ‘brown’. A boy who asked a black child if he was from Africa. How teachers are reporting primary school pupils as bigots in official records”

also reported in other media outlets in the UK. (more…)
